Weekly Poll - RVD / VRD Maintenance - How Long?

This week’s poll questions are about how long you have been on maintenance therapy. In particular, this question is about maintenance therapy with a combination of Revlimid, Velcade, and dexamethasone. Another poll that we are running concurrently is about thalidomide maintenance therapy:

As usual, we have a few clarifications:

This question is only for myeloma patients who are currently receiving maintenance therapy with a combination of Revlimid (lenalidomide) and Velcade (bortezomib) with or without dexamethasone (Decadron) -- often abbreviated as RVD or VRD.

You are also more than welcome to answer the question if, in addition to RVD / VRD-based maintenance therapy, you also are receiving a bisphosphonate such as Aredia (pamidronate) or Zometa (zoledronic acid).

Please note that maintenance therapy is defined as prolonged treatment following one or more initial, usually more intensive, treatment regimens. The goal of maintenance therapy is to prolong survival beyond what might be possible with just the initial therapy.
