I'm glad to see you are up and about. Having an SCT can be a pretty horrendous experience. Hope all goes smoothly for you now.

Mohr-man:

Gee, Go easy on things...and yourself.

We knew you were fighting big-dog stuff,.... while we sat in the shade!

Get your rest and we can chew the fat, later. Boris kept us posted...and cool.

Glad to hear you are on the mend.

Good luck.

So glad to hear from you! I am hoping that your recovery continues without complications. We heard that you were only in the hospital for 16 days ... that is an accomplishment in itself! Must be wonderful to be home. Sounds like you had outstanding care.

Some of us breezed through, some of us didn't, some of us don't remember much. It's OK, no matter what; rather like the old pilot's adage -- any landing you walk away from is a good one.

One thing most of us can tell you, though, is this: It will get better. You will feel better, and be able to do more stuff, and be more able to write, whether you actually want to or not. ;)

No matter what, all of US support you, and are with you, and have you in our thoughts and prayers.

Looking forward to hearing from you again, when you feel up to it!

Welcome back Steve. You've given me and probably many others a clear, no-holds-barred account of your journey (my ASCT happens tomorrow afternoon) and what might lay ahead. Thanks again, well done, and keep up the good work. Andy

Steve,

It's great to see that you are on the mend. The different experiences with this procedure seem to be as prevalent as the different forms that this disease takes from person to person. Hopefully you will find that your Dark Days were worth it.
