Hello to all,
I have not posted any more as of late. I have been so exhausted mentally and physically, I just haven't been able to.
I did want to just updated and say that we are finally home from the hospital after a nearly three week stay.
My wife finished her five days of radiation and started her chemo while being an inpatient. We have an appointment with the oncologist tomorrow and she will do the rest of her chemo outpatient. The regimen is a 28-day cycle where she had chemo on day 1 and will have another on days 8, 15 and 22. She is getting cyclophosphamide, Velcade (bortezomib) and a steroid dexamethasone.

Re: Wife newly diagnosed - how advanced is her disease?
Hello, WVMedic:
I know your wife, yourself, and your family has been through a lot. Many people have been on this regimen (called by some CyBorD), and have done very well. I hope that is the case for you.
Good luck. JPC
