This week, there are two polls about treatment with Velcade. This one is for myeloma patients who have specifically been treated with Velcade in the past year and is about what Velcade dosing schedule you used. The other poll is open to all myeloma patients and is about whether you have ever been treated with Velcade.
A few clarifications:
First, this poll is for people with multiple myeloma who have taken Velcade (bortezomib) therapy within the last year. It does not matter what type of Velcade therapy; it can be initial induction therapy, consolidation therapy, maintenance therapy, salvage therapy; it can be Velcade alone or Velcade in combination with other myeloma treatments.
Second, if you used several different dosing schedules over the past year, in different stages of your treatment or to manage side effects, please vote for the schedule that you used for the longest part of your therapy or found most tolerable.
Third, if you are a caregiver or family member of a myeloma patient, feel free to answer on their behalf.
As always, feel free to post comments, thoughts, or feedback in the space below. They can be very useful to other readers.
In particular, if you selected "Other," please describe your dosing schedule below. Please also feel free to provide information about the actual dose you used.

In addition, The Beacon conducted a similar poll a few months ago asking about dosing schedules specifically for Velcade maintenance therapy:
