Thank you so much for sharing your good news with us! I have just been diagnosed for multiple myeloma at age 48 and your comment makes me feel so good!

Can you tell me if you had the bone marrow transfer? Yours or someone else's ?

Enjoy life and good health!

Manon from Quebec City! :)

Diagnosed 5/12/12 IgG t,11-14 Kappa Light chains ( Low/Std risk disease--per Mayo sMART)
-Surgery
-Radiation- 2 areas ( 12 weeks)
-Induction w/ Velcade/Dex ( 4 months+)
-Stem cell collection 4/13 ( 4 transplants + collected in 3 hrs)
-NO STC UNDERTAKEN
On Revlimid-Zometa -since 5/13
low M Spike- (1/13-12/14) (0.1- 0.3)
ZOMETA ( Monthly DQ'd 10/2014)

In complete remission ( 12/2014) (0.0)

On Revlimid (10 Mg) oral maintenance--no dex! ($12,000 +cost )
Zometa IV -every 3 months

Feel fairly good--lingering GI Tract and PN issues from Velcade;
Usual Revlimid side effects--fatigue, muscle stiffness, lowered platelets, a bit of FOG, etc.

I could do 10 more years of this treatment protocol...standing on my head !

and I hope to do so....so I can see Revlimid monthly cost = $1200 / Month ! (or less)
