This week's question is for all our readers who currently have, or were previously diagnosed with, smoldering multiple myeloma.
The question is: How old were you when you were diagnosed with smoldering myeloma?
A few clarifications:
First, this question is only for readers who either (a) currently have smoldering multiple myeloma, or (b) were diagnosed with smoldering multiple myeloma before their disease progressed to active multiple myeloma.
Second, if you are a caregiver or family member of someone who falls into either category (a) or (b) above, feel free to answer on their behalf
Third, we are interested in how old you were at that point in time when you received the definitive diagnosis that you have smoldering myeloma.
As always, feel free to post comments, thoughts, or feedback in the space below. They can be very useful and interesting to other readers.
We ran this same poll about a year ago and a half ago, but we are running it again so that Beacon readers have access to the latest information and can compare it to the previous data.

We are also running a similar poll this week for patients with monoclonal gammopathy of undetermined significance (MGUS). If you have been diagnosed with MGUS, feel free to vote in this poll:

We also recently ran a similar poll for people with active multiple myeloma. Check out the results:
