Although I've only met one fellow Myeloma Beacon poster / participant in person (that I know of), I feel like I'm part of a really cool community here. I almost feel like I know many of you just from your posts. For that reason, and because we often deal with bad news or at least difficult issues here, I want to share some good news that I just received.
I got a call from my oncologist's office this afternoon telling me that, after 1 1/2 years of treatment, I have moved directly from VGPR to sCR based on last week's blood, urine, and bone marrow lab results. I know I still have a long road ahead of me (and I'm glad it's a long road

), but this feels like an important milestone to me.
I hope that my good news encourages lots of other folks.
