Re: Question about Kappa light chain ratio
It appears to me that your Kappa level is increasing and the FLC Assay ratio is also increasing. Those are not good indicators and implies that the Meyloma is active and getting worse. You definitely need to discuss this with your oncologist.

Re: Question about Kappa light chain ratio
I just showed my results to Dr.Siegel's team at HUMC and they said that the increases are so minute that there is no need to be concerned. So I guess that answers my question.

Re: Question about Kappa light chain ratio
Met with my Dr on Friday, Dr David Siegal who is one of the best of the best. He said he couldn't understand why my kappa ratios are slightly elevated, but because all of my other tests are perfect, there is nothing to worry about at this time. He mentioned it could be anything from a lab discrepancy, to my multiple myeloma becoming active, but its somethign that can be elevated for the next 5 to 10 years with no issues. So I guess it's just something that will need to be watched.
