Hi Folks,
Do plasmacytomas / lesions tend to regrow in the same places upon relapse, and if so, does having radiotherapy to an area make a difference?
It's just a question that popped into my head. I'm not aware of relapsing or of any possible lesions, although I'm anaemic. My hemoglobin, never more than 127 during treatment, has recently been 95, 96, and 97 but the last was 90, so something may be occurring.
Thanks in advance for any answers.
Regards,
Taff

Re: Do plasmacytomas / lesions recur in the same places?
Hi, Taff,
I don't know what the general tendency is, but in my sister's case, who had a lot of soft tissue plasmacytomas, they have always been in a different place. She had radiation for one of them, and so far (fingers crossed) it has not reappeared at the same spot. Though she has a couple of others now in different locations.

Thanks for that Multibilly, I thought I'd done a search but obviously not. And it answers both parts of my question.
