Hi JPC,

I don't think I can make any recommendations for improving iron absorption other than what you can probably find online doing a search like "improve iron absorption". My impression from the little research I've done is that vitamin C seems universally recognized as a supplement that will improve iron absorption, and aborption also seems to be improved if plant and meat sources of iron are mixed during meals.

Probably your best bet is to speak to a good nutritionist. I think you have to be very careful about what you read on the Internet when it comes to nutrition-related information. I think the evidence behind a lot of the information is sketchy.
