The US Dept of Defense classifies multiple myeloma as a condition for which Agent Orange is a risk factor and thus for those veterans exposed to it in Vietnam and a few other locations it's accepted for disability.
Also, information I have seen says that multiple myeloma is more common in persons working with or exposed to certain chemicals.

Re: deletion of chromosome 13
Since I am not up on all the technical terms, I have a simple question: after high dose chemotherapy and bone marrow transplant, now being in complete remission, is a second high dose chemotherapy & transplant required at this time to ensure chromosome 13 does not recur??
