The Myeloma World has lost a true hero. He was an inspiration to us all. My heart breaks for his family for their loss. My heart is so heavy and I am at a loss for words. A very very sad day.

Dr. Goodman "Arnie" truly was an inspiration to many of us with his courage and knowledge. I am deeply saddened at his passing and at a complete loss of words to describe what he has meant to me. Godspeed to Arnie and family. May you now rest in peace Arnie.

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Arnie. Through his columns, I felt like I had met him and that he was fighting the good fight for me, too. He certainly gave more than a lifetime of knowledge, compassion and inspiration during his time on earth. I will miss reading his columns. My thoughts and condolences are with his family. I am so sad. It sort of seemed like as long as Arnie kept going, so could we all. This is a sobering reminder of the severity of this disease. I will always be grateful to Arnie for the inspiration he gave us here.
