Re: young and newly diagnosed

Thank you guys so much for the positive words! It's so refreshing to be able to share my feelings and seek out others who are going through the same thing. My prayers go out to everyone who is fighting or taking care of someone who is!

It's been super busy time as we finally got our insurance! I am so thankful, God definitely provided for us!! :). We start the chemo next Friday so I'm busy getting my house in order this weekend. I'm a little nervous I must say but I know God is leading the way.

Do you guys have a walk or any kind of event that helps bring awareness to your community? If so let me know how that's going :) I am trying to bring one here in my area so any suggestions would be awesome :)

The Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation has a "Race for Research 5K Run/Walk"

My husband and I ran the one in Boston - the MMRF raises tons of money for myeloma research.
