Hi there,
I was wondering what would healed bone lesions look like on x-rays.
Dad has been caught up with cough all the time. Cough would last for about ten days, heal, and then reappear within two months. It has been going on for over one year. So the lung Doctor took an x-ray of his chest, and she found a black (scattery) dot in the middle of his right lung that overlaps one of his rib cages.
We had done a CT scan with contrast. We hope nothing funny came out of this. It left me wonder all the time. But it hasn't gotten any bigger (nor smaller) over the past one year... this thing has been there for over a year.
Crossing fingers... any insights will help. Thanks!

As I look at the earlier comments from the Beacon's docs on this subject, there seems to be a difference of professional opinion on whether lytic lesions due to myleoma can actually heal or not.

Based on the first link, its sounds like you may have to utilize an MRI to see any change?
