Re: Worried about possible lung cancer

by Gary D on Sat May 28, 2016 9:50 am

Update: I haven't posted in a while about my lung cancer and myeloma.

I had surgery in February 2016 to remove two carcinoid tumors from my lung. The surgeon had to remove the middle lobe of my right lung. I'm starting to do some light exercise to get my lung capacity back. Also, I know I need to stay physically active to withstand whatever treatments I might need for the lung carcinoid or myeloma in the future.

The good news is that a PET/CT scan 2 weeks ago didn't detect any abnormal activity and my blood work is okay.

Best wishes to all.

Gary
