10 mg taken in a.m. with a bit of food, a large ice tea, and 81 grain aspirin every other day. Have to balance fatigue with constipation. If taken at night, then problems.
I do sleep in more -- especially on weekends. But if I sleep in, the week goes better. If I work a day with more than 9-12 hours, I need to replace those hours asap. My tank empties more quickly on Revlimid. I often could use the boost from dex, but my colon goes on strike.
Your mileage will vary.

Re: Revlimid - when do you take it?
I take 10 mg of Revlimid at 9 a.m. each day. I did have kidney involvement initially, but has improved dramatically. It does tire me somewhat, but I'm fatigued all the time anyway so I don't let it bother me, as best I can.

Re: Revlimid - when do you take it?
When I was taking 35 mg of Revlimid per day, the pharmacist advised me to take it at night as it would cause drowsiness. So I have only taken it at night. And I slept well.
Due to low platelet counts and low hemoglobin, I am no longer taking it.

Re: Revlimid - when do you take it?
I was on a 25 mg dose (along with dex) for induction a couple of years ago and have been on the 10 mg dose for the last 18 months or so. Whatever effects the higher dose might have had on my sleep cycle was completely clobbered by the dex. The lower dose doesn't seem to affect me much at all. I take it first thing in the morning and work through the day. I do tend to go to bed a bit earlier than I did ten years ago, but I also get up earlier and, heck, I'm ten years older than I was back then! Everyone I know who's my age wants a nap every afternoon.

That's pretty much me. Except for the nap. I can't nap. If I do that, I feel logy the whole rest of the day.
I've also, to the disgust of my husband and children, always been a 'morning person.' I get my best stuff (including fun stuff) done early in the morning before everyone else is mobile. I don't require caffeine to begin the day.
I know.
I'm strange.
So far, then, about half of us take Revlimid in the morning, about half at night. I wonder why that sweet pharmacist was surprised? I wonder if anybody has actually compiled data on this? I wonder what, if anything at all, it means?

Re: Revlimid - when do you take it?
I've been on 10 mg maintenance for 28 months and have always taken it at night. I was told it would make me sleepy. However, I've never fully rebounded from my transplant, and I'm battling fatigue anyway, so not sure it makes a difference for me.

Re: Revlimid - when do you take it?
I take my 25mg of Revlimid in the morning, but interestingly I notice some of you talk about taking it with food. I'm instructed not to have any food within an hour either side of taking Revlimid, so I make sure I take it an hour before breakfast. I do get fatigue on particular days, but primarily put that down to coming down off weekly 40 mg of dex.

Re: Revlimid - when do you take it?
I have been taking 15 mg Revlimid since mid December, had a week off and am now in the middle of the first week of a new 4-week cycle. I have been taking my Revlimid with the acyclovir around 8:00 p.m., as per the pharmacist's instructions. They did mention drowsiness and I had not really felt anything near the bedtime. Therefore, I had nothing to add to this discussion; till my new experience:
On Friday night, I took my antacid, did my routine exercise and stretches, etc., flossing and brushing my teeth and the nightly vitamins, all as usual, but somehow completely forgot about the chemo bag with my Revlimid and acyclovir.
I realized my oversight on Saturday morning, counted all the pills to confirm that I did really forget to take my nightly dose, and decided to take the Revlimid upon this discovery. I was very drowsy within the hour and had to lie down and nap for a couple of hours. I felt quite tired for most of the day. I had to force myself to go for a long walk in the evening and then pushed myself to stay awake to delay the next nightly dose by a few hours. I will be back on schedule from tonight.
Revlimid sure made me sleepy and drowsy, almost immediately. All these medications, chemo types in particular, have subjective reactions and everyone's experience may vary.
