Re: What Chemo/Treatment Options got you to remission?
I was diagnosed 4 years ago. My induction treatment was thalidomide with dexa, plus monthly Zometa infusions. Within 6 months, I was near complete remission. Then I had chemo and an auto stem cell transplant. That put me into complete remission, and I then started a low dose of Revlimid as a maintenance drug.
I was in complete remission for a little more than 2 years, when the M-protein spike reappeared. it is still very low (0.35), and is creeping up very slowly. Since everything else is normal, and I was having a hard time with Revlimid, we stopped it and are now watching.

Re: What Chemo/Treatment Options got you to remission?
dex 12 mg , doxil 5?/msq and Velcade 1mg/msq in days 1, 4, 8, 1,1 got me to complete response over 8 cycles. now on maintenance of dex 24 mg Velcade 1.3 mg/msq on days 1,14 forever along with zometa 4mg monthly keeps me here.
