Re: Weekly Poll - No Early Transplant - Same Decision Again?

by DadinSanDiego / Rog on Sun Apr 12, 2015 9:07 pm

I was diagnosed in January 2015 and started treatment on March 2. I am almost done with Revlimid, Velcade, and dex (RVD) and am wondering about the stem cell. I am thinking I won't do it. Any thoughts?

Hello Rog,

As you might expect, the question of when to do a stem cell transplant is a frequent topic of discussion here in the forum. You can find many discussions of the topic -- with many recent contributions -- in this list of transplant-related discussions here in the forum.

The above link, by the way, is one of many that is in the "Useful links to previous forum discussions" posting here in "Treatments and Side Effects" part of the forum. You may find it worth checking out at some point.

Good luck!
