This week’s poll topic is about what your initial myeloma therapy was upon your diagnosis. We are asking a series of these questions, one for each of several different countries.
A few clarifications:
First, this particular poll question is for residents of all countries EXCEPT Australia, Canada, France, Germany, India, Italy, Spain, the UK, and the USA. If you are a resident of one of the countries just listed, please answer the poll question for that country.
Second, please answer this poll only if you have been diagnosed with multiple myeloma within the last two years.
Third, initial therapy is frequently called induction therapy. It does not matter for this question whether you proceeded to have a stem cell transplant after the initial therapy.
Fourth, if you are a caregiver or family member of a myeloma patient, feel free to answer on their behalf.
Fifth, if you received a therapy that is not included in the list above, please use the space below to describe it.
Sixth, because this poll is not about a specific country, it would be helpful to everyone if you could take a moment after you've answered the poll to post a comment below, telling us which country you are from and what your initial therapy was.

I am from NZ and was diagnosed in March 2014. I had four cycles of VCD prior to SCT.
I had no problems with side effects (other than not sleeping with the dex!) and have just finished the 9 cycles of Velcade that are government funded here.

From Switzerland, diagnosed a year ago, induction was Revlimid, Velcade, and dexamethasone (RVD).

From Indonesia, but treated in Singapore: Velcade, thalidomide, and dexamethasone (VTD).

My dad is in China. Diagnosed on 21st of May this year, just finished the second cycle of Velcade, cyclophosphamide, and dexamethasone on today.
