Weekly Poll - Extramedullary Myeloma

by Beacon Staff on Wed Jan 16, 2013 11:16 am

This week’s poll question is about "extramedullary myeloma," which is myeloma that develops outside of the bone marrow. It can also be referred to as “extramedullary disease” or “extramedullary plasmacytomas.”

A few clarifications:

This poll is for anyone who has been diagnosed with a plasma cell tumor (for example, multiple myeloma, solitary plasmacytoma, or extramedullary myeloma). If you are a caregiver or family member of a patient with one of these conditions, feel free to answer on their behalf.

As always, feel free to post additional thoughts, feedback, or comments in the space below. They can be very useful to other readers. For instance, how was your extramedullary myeloma treated?
