This week’s poll question is about your symptoms at the time of your myeloma diagnosis.
A few clarifications:
First, this question is only for patients currently diagnosed with active multiple myeloma (that is, not smoldering myeloma or MGUS).
Second, if you are a caregiver or family member of someone with active myeloma, feel free to answer on their behalf.
As always, feel free to post comments, thoughts, or feedback in the space below. They can be very useful to other readers.

Re: Weekly Poll – CRAB Symptoms
Unfortunately, I was misdiagnosed when I had a compression fracture. The NP said it was just a sprain, well.....1 1/2 later going to a back doctor to find out if I was a candidate for kyphoplasty, a plasmacytoma on t10 was discovered . The rest is history......treatment, sct, remission, relapse, CR .....
So the lesson for me is if I feel anything different or weird I tell my onc immediately.

Re: Weekly Poll – CRAB Symptoms
What bothered me most was that I only had the B but it was primarily the skull.
That was frightening since the skull is the thickest bone in the body. I was like YIKES!!
