Re: Urine protein electrophoresis - understanding the result
Went to my doctor yesterday and learned a little more information. Just by chance, and I think this is pretty cool, the doctor they set me up with up at the Cleveland Clinic just so happens to be Dr. Valent, who responded earlier in this thread.
On the other hand, the not so cool part was news that wasn't the greatest that I still do not fully understand. So much information is given so fast I need a third or fourth person with me just to catch it all. I have read the advice of bringing a recorder which makes so much sense even after just two appointments. All of a sudden, though, everything has kicked into high gear and trying to balance the myeloma side of things with taking care of my other life stuff is a bit much.
I mostly just wanted to share the first part because I thought it was neat. Hope anyone who reads this thread still is doing well!
