My mom's 24 hour urine collection has not shown an M spike since she started treatment. The doctor cut her Velcade to one third of where she started and she is on 25 mg Revlimid.
Four months ago her results said: No M spike but a faint kappa cannot be ruled out.
Her next two results did not show that.
Her results from yesterday said: "A faint IgG kappa cannot be ruled out."
Does any one know if a faint IgG kappa is worse than a kappa? Does that mean it's showing up more since they can identify it as IgG? Is this normal to have a faint band cannot be ruled out on and off during treatment?
Also, everything else is normal – kappa and lambda values, etc.
Thanks!
