Re: Barely "upgraded" from MGUS to smoldering myeloma

Apparently this is complicated material and perhaps the statement below on its own is not very meaningful but can anyone knowledgeable in the area of similar results comment on the below?

I've read that smoldering myeloma is high risk at 95%+ mutant cells found , 91% is less but I'm not sure if in this area 91% is not anything to worry with or is it close enough to 95% ....

Thanks

Aberrant plasma cells detected, 0.41% of total nucleated cells and 91% of total plasma cells, consistent with Plasma Cell Neoplasm.

-The aberrant plasma cells CD38+, CD138+, CD19(partial), CD20(+), CD28(-), CD56(-), D117(+), cyto-Kappa(+), cyto-Lambda(-).

Playing pinball sure beats worrying with aberrant plasma cells, so far so good downplaying this entire deal and moving on.
