I'm waiting for the records' department to send me the results for the UPEP/24 hr urine test. The only thing I got so far is a lab report and all it states is:
"Immunofixation, Urine
IFE Interpretation: U
Immunofixation shows IgG monoclonal protein with kappa light chain specificity."
This couldn't be IT ???
Besides the Bence Jones protein results, what else would/ should it show? I would like to be sure that this is incomplete before I "bug" them again.

It sounds like you only got the results for the urine IFE which wouldn't quanitfy the Bence Jones paraproteins., only their presence. The 24 hour urine will actually give you the quanities of proteins found...albumin, etc., including the Bence Jones proteins.
