Re: Tylenol for Neupogen bone pain - dosage?

by Wayne K on Sat Jan 18, 2014 1:01 pm

Your experience brings me to question if dosage has a bearing on the bone pain. I received Neupogen in 3 doses and had bone pain after the second one.

I had enough stem cell from from one harvest to do my SCT and another I was told.

It is interesting to see how different centers do things differently. DallasGG is getting 7 shots, Wayne got 3, I am scheduled for 4 starting tomorrow.

A brief update: had Neupogen injections yesterday morning and this morning. Took Claritin generic version both mornings. So far a bit achy around the edges but nothing even significant enough to take Tylenol. Hoping it continues. The blood work this morning before the second shot showed a jump in WBC from 3.2 to 17.1.
