My mother was diagnosed three years ago with smoldering multiple myeloma. For the last three months she has been treated with 15 mg of Revlimid, Zometa infusions once a month, and dexamethasone once a week.
Since beginning her med therapy, she has endured fatigue, sudden bouts of sweating while eating, but recently tremors. During her last 21 day cycle, her tremors were so severe that her hands and her whole body shook.
Has anyone experienced this?

I'm confused. One generally doesn't treat smoldering multiple myeloma, except perhaps in an experimental clinical trial setting or in some very high risk circumstances. However, Zometa is sometimes used with smoldering multiple myeloma patients. What circumstances caused her to begin taking Revlimid and dex?

I would suggest that the tremors are more likely a result of the dex than they are the Revlimid.
I take 10 mg of Revlimid and 20 mg of dex. For a day or two after taking the dex, I have tremors in my hands and difficulty doing anything that requires fine motor coordination with my hands. I also have profuse sweating during the night when I take the dex and almost every night around 3 am. During the summer I get hot very quickly and really feel much better when there is a breeze on me most of the time.
I took a break from the dex while I was on vacation in Europe for a month in May because of the dex side effects. Not taking it made my travels much easier to manage since my sleep wasn't interrupted and I didn't have the tremors. I still had more sweating sooner than I did prior to multiple myeloma, but not as bad as when taking dex.
I had started on 40 mg of dex during induction and had terrible side effects from it. The 20 mg is much better than the 40, but I would rather not have to take it. But, it seems to help keep things in control.
