Hi Mildred (and all),

I hope that you don't leave the Beacon because of some misunderstandings about what is polite to post, Mildred! We are all here to help each other out, and, of course, if we register on the forum can get private messages. I get private messages sometimes, and try to answer them as best I can. But 'social media' is open to a bit of misinterpretation, since it is all on the printed page, and even humour doesn't come across sometimes. I can see that you have been having a stressful time of it too.

Best wishes to all and HAGW (have a good weekend). :)

Wow. Yes, it would be nice if everyone said thank you all the time for the incredibly helpful and useful postings. But, I hope we all understand the incredible stress families are going through, especially when they first learn that they or one of their loved ones has myeloma. For me, personally, it's just fine if the recipient of one of my posts doesn't say "thank you", and I hope others understand if I'm feeling crummy and neglect to thank them for a post that helps me. Or neglect to say "thank you" for a week because I work all week and usually don't come to the Beacon until the weekend.

Mildred, please don't leave. And ask as many questions as you need to ask.
