My mother is getting ready for tandem autologous stem cell transplants. Could somebody tell me the differences IN the outcome of tandem transplants with MEL200 or with MEL140? which is the expected EFS, PFS and OS? We have to choose between the 2 options soon so any informations will be apreciated. Thank you

Re: Tandem ASCT MEL200 vs Tandem ASCT 140
The doctors chose to give me the lower dose 140 mg because my kidneys were. Compromised. I have light chain deposition and am stage 4 chronic kidney disease. If your mother is very healthy they might go for 200mg

Re: Tandem ASCT MEL200 vs Tandem ASCT 140
My mother is very healthy. The only problem is her age. She is 73 years old but otherwise she is healthy. No kidney disease, heart and lung function normal and already in CR wihout residual disease. Thank you very much for your answer
