Systemic mastocytosis in bone marrow biopsy results

by jennylynn0826 on Mon Jul 31, 2017 7:23 am

Can anyone explain systemic mastocytosis?

All I can get from my oncologists and reading online is that it is some type of "strange" allergy. Well, this strange allergy has been showing up in my bone marrow biopsies since day 1, and they don't know what to do with it or can't explain it to me.

I don't about mast cells in the bone marrow, but I was diagnosed with mast cells in the bladder once. I had interstitial cystitis. I understand they were caused by allergic irritation. They are painful in the bladder!
