Re: Symptomatic (nonsecretory / oligosecretory) relapse

Hi Folks,

Been a while but here's the latest update. After almost 8 months of second line therapy of Velcade, cyclophosphamide, and dex, I've had a complete response. Paraprotein unmeasurable.

Unfortunately, I feel no better, with a general feeling of malaise / feeling sick on a daily basis. Can't remember the last time I felt 'good'.

Although my oedema has mostly gone, I'm left with peripheral neuropathy in my feet and legs, which are painful to the touch / generally sore, despite slow release morphine.

Long- and short-term memory are almost non-existent and I find it difficult to read. I can understand the words but fail to grasp what a paragraph says.

Severe fatigue has been ongoing since diagnosis in late 2016.

It turns out that the relapse was not oligosecretory, it was just caught very early due to rib lesions and my skull lump.

All good then on the myeloma front, I still ent ded.

I seem to remember promising a banjo piece. Well, while I can play the piece, I seem to have some sort of performance fright; every time I try to record myself, everything falls to bits.

However, I've finally got it recorded and whilst it's far from perfect, it's the best recording yet. And it's a first. The first online recording of Recuerdos de la Alhambra on banjo, played with classical guitar style tremolo:
