Sweating & cramps on Revlimid, Velcade, and dex (RVD)

by LouiseNaczek112 on Tue Apr 12, 2016 8:31 am

I was diagnosed August 2013 with multiple myeloma. No stem cell transplant. I continue on Revlimid 21 days, Velcade twice a month, and dexamethasone every Monday. I'm in a partial remission.

I do take curcumin once daily. I get leg cramps the day of and day after taking the dex. I also have the sweats everyday, same time every morning (9 a.m.). I don't have to do anything and I sweat, mostly face and hair. It drips down the face; hair gets so soaked that I actually have to use the hair dryer again to dry it. My hematologist said it's from the Revlimid. So I do tolerate it. If I sit down after awhile and just relax, it stops. Crazy.

I am blessed not to have too many other side affects.
