Super Bowl XLVII Predictions

by Ricardo on Sun Feb 03, 2013 11:41 am

We skipped a year without having a thread here giving everyone a chance to share their predictions for the upcoming Super Bowl. So I thought it was about time to open one, even if the game between the San Francisco 49ers and Baltimore Ravens is less than 12 hours away.

Anyone care to share their predictions? The oddsmakers have San Francisco as a 4 point favorite.

I'll be a bit contrarian and pick Baltimore.

I do not have a bet on the game, so I will root for the underdog as well.

We are in Philadelpha Eagles territory ....say no more! However, we are Ravens fans all the way since Joe Flacco is from the town (Audubon, NJ) adjacent to ours (Haddonfield) and is a local hero. He is a very humble guy and his large family is well respected around here. His father, Steve Flacco, was also a running back for UPenn when I was an undergraduate there. Baltimore all the way.....loved seeing the Pats bite the dust too.

I guess in the future, anyone betting on a big football game should check out the predictions and preferences posted here. Against the odds, the Baltimore Ravens won -- just as predicted (or preferred) by all who posted here prior to the game.

Not bad!
