Maybe it's just my Y chromosome and the fact that I'm from the US of A, but it seems to me that if you're going to have a general discussion forum here, there has to be a thread about the upcoming Super Bowl. So what are people's predictions?
The oddsmakers predict that Green Bay will win by 2-3 points, and the total number of points scored will be about 45.
My prediction: Pittsburgh Steelers 27, Green Bay Packers 20.

Re: Super Bowl XLV Predictions
I'm not a football fan - and I'm not sure why, since I've always been surrounded by lovers of the game. I just asked my husband, and daughter, who they thought would win, and got a response (in unison) "THE STEELERS". Of course, the daughter is from P'burg, so she may be a little prejudiced!

Re: Super Bowl XLV Predictions
I like both teams, but I must say the Steelers were impressive. I'm not a football fan anymore. I used to be. But my husband is and so I will simply hope to enjoy a GREAT game. Although the games leading up seem to always be better! (except this time!)

Sorry, I'm a sore loser - KC Chiefs are out - so I don't care! But will enjoy the game anyway.

For a sense of the crazy things people will bet on when it comes to the Super Bowl, check out this web page:

For example, "How long will Christina Aguilera hold the note “Brave” at the end of the National Anthem?" Ahhhhh ... the things people spend time thinking about these days!

Re: Super Bowl XLV Predictions
Well, I guess my intuition wasn't bad that the game wouldn't be as low scoring as some had predicted. But my prediction regarding the winner was, well, not so great. In any case ... congratulations Green Bay ... nice job!
