My sympathy to the Kramer family. I always looked forward to reading his articles. Another passing too, too soon.

I looked forward to reading Stephen's column whenever it was published. I enjoyed his walks through the park to get to his appointments and the descriptions of the view he had from the infusion center. Stephen will be missed by many on this forum.

Much love to his family and friends.

So sad, another tough loss in our multiple myeloma community and of course, a huge loss for his family. His columns were lovely.

I was so sorry to hear of Mr. Kramer's passing. I had been wondering about him and missed his columns. I appreciated his sharing of his experience with steroids. It was an aha moment for me – the realization that what my family was struggling through just might be explained in some way was profound. No one ever shared with us the possible side effects of medications and we suffered in embarrassed silence and anguish for many months.

Obviously I never met him, but Mr. Kramer will live in my memories and be a significant part of my personal experience with this disease forever, in a very positive way.

I recently read a quote from the 1943 children's book, "The Little Prince," that I think is comforting:

"You, you alone will have the stars as no one else has them. In one of the stars I shall be living. In one of them I shall be laughing. And so it will be as if all the stars were laughing when you look at the sky at night."

While he may miss his family, I hope Mr. Kramer is laughing with the stars.
