Research on smoldering myeloma non-progressors?

by gardengirl on Fri Jan 31, 2014 8:25 pm

A lot of focus is placed on who is more likely to progress from smoldering myeloma to active myeloma. We are given so many statistics (IgG vs IgA, %BMPC, M-protein level, etc.) ... these are the numbers/chances one will progress, etc.

I'm wondering if there are any statistics about the non-progressors -- that fortunate 25% that never need treatment. Were they IgG, IgA, etc?

Thanks for your thoughts!
