Hello all,
My mom was diagnosed two weeks ago ... this stuff is scary! Please help with tips of what to expect!
My mom has lesions all over her bones and has some renal effects. What should we expect with VRD? Thanks!

Re: Starting VRD this week
VRD seems to be the treatment of choice. I did Velcade/Prednisone and had a great response. I'm now on Revlimid maintenance, 4 1/2 yrs from VP and 3 1/2yrs from a SCT.
I've heard that DEX has some side effects and I know Revlimid does. There is probably no point in mentioning my side affects becasue it seems that individual has a different set.
My only side effects from initial treatment was from the prednisone. I took 2 heavy doses at the start of every series and i had a hard time sleeping that night and the next. After that I can't say i had any effects. I'm experiencing some from the Revlimid, all of which are listed as common, but they are fluid.
