SSDI for smoldering multiple myeloma?
Can I qualify for Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) benefits with smoldering myeloma?
Re: SSDI for smoldering multiple myeloma?
Hello,
I don't think you can get disability if you are not disabled. Since smoldering multiple myeloma is considered asymptomatic and doesn't warrant treatment, I think it would be a big stretch. If a smoldering patient is disabled from myeloma-related side effects, such as neuropathy, it might be possible.
