I agree with you regarding the fact that an MRI/PET should be repeated. I am unsure why all the previous times the doctor did not wish to repeat these exams.

I guess it was perhaps because the lab works were not showing a very high change in m spike (from 18g to 25 over the course of 1 year) and the rest of the indicators were fine (HB, Calcium, kidney and creatine).

I guess now is a good time for me to insist on some further checkup to be made (MRI and or PET) specially since in 4 months the spike has risen from 25g to 31.6...

I thank you also for your encouraging words regarding the new meds and solutions. You are my mother's age ! My mother turned 65 yesterday June 13th..

I keep reading that most people relaspe so quickly though even with these new meds.. that is what worries me the most..
