Really great information to know, thank you both so much. My doctor is a very busy guy and he doesn't really talk about the details with me. Finding this site has really helped my peace of mind. :)

Been hovering around reading since October 2014, when I was diagnosed with smoldering myeloma. Still struggling to come to terms with it, but having less tearful days.

I just come across this question and and I am the same too. I was told I would be MGUS until I have my bone marrow biopsy, and then it was changed to smoldering. Still getting my head round the decision because I only have 2% plasma involvement. But was told that, in the 2%, 92% are showing myeloma CD19- CD56+ CD27+ CD45+, but not to worry, as that isn't at 95% yet and I have no other CRABi symptoms, so go home, look after myself, and come back for another blood test in February, which I am now starting to worry about. But hey ho, I found this forum and you are all managing to keep me sane.

Thank you x
