Hi Tom please give me some of your insights on the use of cannabis. I am thinking about it as well. I would like to know what it does for you. Thanks!

Re: Six year multiple myeloma survivor, Vaporize cannabis da
Hi Cher,
I vaporize weed because it eliminates almost all impurities. For instance, if one had lung cancer they would not want to smoke weed. But lung cancer patients can be treated by vaporizing cannabis and not be exposed to carcinogens.
But back to ur question. I would be a rack of bones, however weed stimulates my appetite and i am at a healthy weight that helps me fight my disease.
I have periods of horrific nausea but it just takes a couple hits and it is gone. No RX side effects. It helps ease my pain but sometime I have to take some opiates to help with it. However I believe I use less opiates when I also use cannabis. A few years ago I was in bad shape and was using
60 mg of Oxycodone a day. When I got better I weaned off Oxy from 60mg/day to 20mg/day with hardly no discomfort. Somedays I have awakened feeling horrible. I then take a few hits off my vaporizer and I just feel so much better.
Do I have to smoke a lot? No. I smoke about .5 gram per day. That is less than a typical rolled joint. Both my oncologist and family physician have no problem with me using this wonder drug because they have got the message.
I never touched a drug in Vietnam. Started smoking after divorced in my thirties.
Hope this helps, Cher. Let me know if you have other questions that I may be of help with. Also, I do live in a medical marijuana state. Thanks!

Did you have any problems getting the total and permanent? I just filed (also Vietnam Vet) the VSO that helped me file said I would receive 100% but probably not total and permanent. Curious to see what the VA comes back with, soon I hope...
