Good afternoon, everyone.
This is totally new for me. Before my sister was diagnosed early this month, I never heard of multiple myeloma. This is really new. She started her new treatment yesterday at a cancer center in New York City. I am looking forward to meeting survivors and family members who are sharing their experiences in this platform.
Regards,
Paulette

Re: Sister diagnosed April 2017 with multiple myeloma
As we always say, welcome to the forum, we are sorry you need to be here.
You have come to a great place to get information and support. You will find a lot of information has already been shared here, and if you have any questions, you will find someone will offer an answer that is typically accurate and, more importantly, not alarmist. There's a lot of scary information about multiple myeloma on the Internet. My warning is to take everything with a grain of salt. There have been a lot of advances and plenty of reason to be hopeful.
Good luck to your sister.
