Serum IgG protein & Bence Jones protein in urine - normal?

by ana1987 on Fri Jun 13, 2014 5:29 pm

Hello to everyone, hope you are all doing okay.

I'm still new to this myeloma thing and i have a lot to learn and ask questions, and I' m very glad I found the Myeloma Beacon where my questions can be answered.

So, my question for now is: Is it normal to have both the protein IgG in blood and the Bence Jones protein in the urine when you have smoldering myeloma?

I think so from what I've read here and there. Best wait for an expert's feedback, though. ;-)
