Serum C-telopeptide test - how common is it?

Is this test commonly given to people getting Zometa or other bone treatments?

Hi Brandywine,

I have no idea how routine it is to administer this test during bisphosphonate treatement of myeloma patients. But it sounds like the test is a good idea to help keep an eye on potential bone disease progression. I take it that you under the care of a myeloma specialist if he/she is suggesting this test?
