Good Morning All,
I just finished my first cycle of RVD [Revlimid-Velcade-dexamethasone]. I am experiencing lots of aches and pains. I had some of these same types of pains prior to diagnosis, which was one of my presenting symptoms, however, these new aches are in a different location.
Should I ask my doctor for a CT/PET/MRI to rule out lesions in these areas, or is it likely that this is a reaction to the chemo?
My kidney function has been affected, (l.55 creatinine), so I think the doctor did not want to subject me to any tests that could compromise my kidneys. I think the contrast agents affect the kidneys.
I would appreciate any input as to what I can do at this point to at least ease my discomfort, or to proceed with additional diagnostics. Thanks all!
