Thank you very much mrozdav for your account of your experience. I am sure you have made the right decision and as you said yourself, the option of a Stem Cell Transplant will be available to you in future should you ever need it. As everybody's situation is so unique, we can only rely on the advice of the Doctors on whether they think it is necessary or not. I really appreciate all of your input, it all really helps.
KLR, thank you so much for sharing your husband's experience of his Stem Cell Transplant. I am sorry to hear he has had to go through it but I am so pleased that he has it over him and is feeling good. It is great to hear of people who got through it okay, as I know it is a difficult procedure. Accounts such as yours will undoubtedly help to allay some of the fears that we have. I do know that everybody is unique and individual experiences will differ, but just knowing that others have faced a similar challenge and have come through it, means an awful lot both to my Dad and to my family. Thanks again, it means a lot KLR and I sincerely hope that your Husband will enjoy a very long remission and will do very well in the long term. It certainly is all consuming and I really appreciate your offer to contact you should I have any more questions. You really are very good.
