About 8 years ago I was diagnosed with CLL with bone pain but my blood counts were good, I was given Rituxan and it completely solved my issue at the time. After 6 months the pain returned and I was given Rituxan and bendamustine (Treanda) together and it didn't do much better.
Over the years the pain has gotten worse to the point where I been diagnosed within the last week with schwannomatosis and I think multiple myeloma because of new lesions found lately, I had found I had 5 already.
No one has been able to tell me why the Rituxan worked so well the first time. I am hoping maybe it wasn't CLL in first place but multiple myeloma
