Rise in IgG - due to food poisoning or stomach virus?

Hello everyone,

My husband recently had blood drawn for his six week check up. His IgG has risen from 1890 to 2170. The week before his blood draw he had either food poisoning or a stomach virus. Would this affect the rise in his IgG?
