Revlimid side effects (official prescribing info)

by concerned on Sun Dec 22, 2013 2:36 pm

Hi All,

Just ran across this when searching for side effects of Revlimid:

http://www.celgene.com/Canada/pdfs/Revlimid%20Product_Monograph_-_English_Version.pdf

It's a 68 page .pdf with lots of good information, originally dated in 2008, revised in Sept 2013.

I have noticed that doctors at time want to "not consider" side effects - "no, you've been taking it for so many months", well according to the studies taking it for a certain time seems not to immunize you from "later side effects".

[Moderator's note: The document linked to above is the official Canadian prescribing information for Revlimid. It is not the prescribing information approved by the FDA for Revlimid in the United States. The official U.S. prescribing information can be viewed here:

http://www.accessdata.fda.gov/drugsatfda_docs/label/2013/021880s038lbl.pdf .

This documented was updated Nov. 4, 2013.]

Are there any studies using Revlimid without the Dex? And if so what dose?
