So my husband was diagnosed in February, 2014 with multiple myeloma. Had melphalan, prednisone and thalidomide treatments from March 2014 to April 2015. Was in remission.
Blood tests in August of this year still stabilized, but today found out that his protein has gone way up and the multiple myeloma is back. Waiting to hear when he will start next treatment, which I believe will be Revlimid.
Looking for any input as to what we should expect.
Has anyone on this treatment traveled down south for a week's vacation? How long before we notice any improvement?

Re: Revlimid for relapsed multiple myeloma - what to expect?
My husband was diagnosed in May, 2015. Did 6 cycles of Revlimid, Velcade, and dex. Around cycle 5 he started getting leg weakness and aching from the mid thigh and down (comes and goes). I don't know which of these drugs caused this. Usually, I hear Velcade and dex have these effects. He reached VGPR with this treatment. He is completing a stem cell transplant (SCT) as I write this.
Will he only take Revlimid, or will there be any other combos?
